Autumn is definitely upon us and I think this is my favourite time of year. The warmer jumpers have already come out and summer evenings spent outside in the sun are replaced by nights in front of the fire with a good book.

Carrot Cupcakes – 6 batch recipe
I have made these carrot cupcakes and they are so yummy. I haven’t made carrot cake in a while but its one of those comforting flavours that never disappoints. They are soft and fluffy and although they have carrot in them they are still light.

Red Velvet Cupcakes
This recipe makes around 24 cupcakes, which seems like a lot but they don’t last long here! The cupcakes freeze really well, just take them out of the freezer two hours before you need them and they will defrost perfectly.
Apple and Cinnamon Pies
Sometimes you need something quick, easy and tasty and these apple pies certainly tick all of those boxes. I do cheat slightly by using a shop brought pastry for this recipe when I do not have time to make it myself and to be honest, they still taste just as good!
Malteser Millionaire Shortbread
Millionaire shortbread’s used to be one of my favourite treats. I would always get them from our local bakery. The buttery biscuit base with the soft caramel and crisp chocolate is so good!
Soft and Buttery Pretzels
Pretzels are one thing I have never really tried making before and to be honest apart from the hard crisp like ones you get in a packet, I have never tried a fresh pretzel! That is. . . until now!
Victoria Sponge Cupcakes
Today I have for you some of my favourite cupcakes. These cupcakes are simple but delicious and are a guaranteed hit at any party.
